Planning permission granted at Elliot Street, Lancefield Quay, Glasgow
Glasgow City Council has granted planning permission for a mixed-use development at 145 Elliot Street, Lancefield Quay, marking a significant step forward in the ongoing mission to revitalise Glasgow's riverside area.
Our proposed development is designed to contribute to the ongoing revitalisation of the River Clyde waterfront, offering a diverse range of accommodation options including student housing, co-living spaces, Build-to-Rent (BtR) units, and privately owned residences. Complementing these living spaces are flexible commercial units, intended to serve both the new residents and the wider community, along with landscaped areas and parking facilities for residents.
The project, replacing the demolished, redundant data centre previously occupying the site, aims to create an inviting residential hub that enhances the broader regeneration of this part of Glasgow, transforming the site into an active, vibrant destination along the city’s riverside. We demonstrated a flexible scheme of 475 mixed accommodation forming part of the Lancefield Quay redevelopment.
Sam Rosenkranz, Associate Director, Planning and Disposals stated:
“We are delighted to have achieved planning permission for the development project at Lancefield Quay, Elliot Street; a significant milestone in our journey.
Through the delivery of quality accommodation and carefully thought-out public realm spaces, we are confident that the proposals will further enhance this area of Glasgow, which is currently undergoing significant transformative change”.
