What you’ll be doing
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Estate Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of vacant and occupied commercial and residential properties across London and the South East. The role plays a key part in ensuring buildings are operated safely, efficiently and in full compliance with statutory and lease obligations. Working closely with asset management teams and external service partners, you will lead hard and soft FM delivery, health and safety, and service charge management, while supporting minor works and improvement projects. This role directly contributes to protecting asset value, controlling costs and delivering a high-quality environment for occupiers and stakeholders.

The day-to-day management of a multi-asset property portfolio, ensuring operational excellence, statutory compliance and effective financial control through proactive facilities and estate management.
What we need from you
- Manage hard and soft FM services across a portfolio of commercial and residential buildings
- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, health and safety legislation and landlord obligations
- Prepare, manage and reconcile service charge budgets, ensuring transparency and cost control
- Appoint, manage and monitor external managing agents, contractors and service providers
- Carry out regular site inspections and risk assessments across the portfolio
- Work closely with asset management teams to support leasing strategies and asset performance
- Oversee minor works, maintenance projects and improvement initiatives
- Act as the key point of contact for occupiers and stakeholders on operational matters
What skills you’ll bring to us
- Proven experience working as a Facilities Manager / Commercial Estate Manager across a multi-site portfolio, ideally within a managing agent or consultancy environment. Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, health & safety legislation and landlord obligations
- Experience setting and managing service charge budgets and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of health and safety and statutory compliance
- Holding an industry-recognised qualification such as IOSH, NEBOSH or an IWFM qualification would be advantageous.
You will be enthusiastic about facilities management, confident in dealing with senior stakeholders, and possess a proactive and engaging approach.
