      Undercliff was again, a lovely experience. Nice and quiet. Gorgeous cliff path walks. Beautiful views of Bouley Bay. Comfortable bed. Tasty breakfast! Richard and Ida are wonderful hosts.

      Had a wonderful couple of days at Sallochy. Booked a loch side pitch, arrived around 2pm and got set up no bother....

      I had booked a loch side pitch, and loved it. Some of the loch side pitches are a bit removed from the main campsite and the toilets, but waking up to the view of Loch Lomond is priceless....

Ribeira Brava Tourist Information

Ribeira Brava is a municipality on Madeira's south coast. Ribeira Brava is situated in a ravine between the west-central mountains of Madeira. It is divided into four civil parishes, namely Campanário, Ribeira Brava, Serra de Água and Tabua. Ribeira Brava lies west of Câmaras de Lobos and Funchal.

The municipality is famous for its warm beaches and features a lot of cafes and shops.

The Museu Etnográfico da Madeira in Ribeira Brava exhibits ethnographic objects from Madeira's past and current culture. Other places of interest in this region are the Lagar de Fuso, Moinho de Água and Mercearia.
