      This was my third stay at the Dolphin - it's near where my sister and brother in law live and they joined me for evening meals in the hotel's excellent restaurant....

      A hotel with character, that is comfortable and staffed by friendly people - there is very little else one could ask for - oh, and the food was good, especially the breakfast kippers!

      We booked a twin room, but upon arrival were given an apartment as no twin rooms were available. This was very convenient as I was with my mother, so we were able to have a room each....

      This is a lovely hotel with several beautiful gardens out back and many places to sit outside. (Some seem like "secret gardens"). There are also lovely areas inside to sit with friends....
