General Information

The Dragon Hotel is a modern residence positioned at the midway point on a one kilometre stretch of road running directly to the city's business park on the one end, and to the marina and its vast strip of sandy shoreline on the other. Traditional decor and white linens characterise the guestrooms which all featuring cable television and video game consoles. Room service operates around the clock. Business guests find conference and banquet facilities equipped with audio visual equipment and secretarial services, while those leaving work at home benefit from an 18 metre indoor heated swimming pool extending to a gymnasium, male and female saunas and a beauty lounge offering contemporary treatments. Lunches and dinners can be taken in the formal, non smoking dining room supplying a blend of traditional English and modern European cuisines, while pre and after dinner drinks are available in the lobby's traditional style bar. Numerous shops, bars and restaurants can be found within one mile, as can the city's Grand Theatre, cinema complex and castle in ruins. Buses operate from the city centre to the Gower Peninsula's host of beaches and cliffs (located at five miles), although guests may find cars more useful for this purpose and for arriving from Cardiff International Airport (CWL), approximate driving time to which is 40 minutes and distance is 39 miles. Complimentary parking is available for this purpose. A shuttle bus operates to Cardiff Central Bus Station, adjacent to which is the railway station which operates hourly services direct to Swansea, with a journey time of around 45 minutes.
