Fantastic view on Loch Lomond. Ideal for hikers, kayakers and backpackers. There are (compost) toilets and a sink with drinking water. But no showers. The wardens are kind. You can also store your gear in a locked locker. Lovely campsite for naturelovers.

I loved every minute of my stay, apart from the rain when setting up. This made some areas a little too wet and boggy to pitch on but it didn't deter us. The wardon on duty was great and friendly. Location stunning. We will be returning

The camping spot is just a park where tents can be pitched. The toilets are very clean and the sinks have drinkable water, which was nice. The best thing about the plae was the amazing vue of loch lomond! Just beware of the midges when sleeping close to the water.

We've been to Sallochy a few times recently to camp and it's absolutely brilliant. As it is a small camp everyone always has plenty of space and isn't too over crowded. Great views and good facilities. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. Our favourite area to kayak!

Campsite is excellent, we gave camped here numerous times, loch side pitches are amazing. Rangers are always helpful. Only criticism I have is there's often dogs running free on central pitch, last time we were there a dog got attacked from a staffy which caused the dog owners to have an argument. Also one the dogs came over and tried to get in our tent.

Very beautiful place to visit. The loch side is very nice, with really nice pitches, against the water. Compost Toilets are Adequate to use. The only issue we had is that being so close to the water, you will be in relentless attack by midges, that's the only draw back. And autistic children might not be able to bear that. Take plenty of skin protection. And enjoy the scenery.

To be honest I would have been better wild camping as there are no facilities other than toilets and our loch side flooded in the rain. Not quite sure this place is worth the money

We stayed at Sallochy for 2 nights. We were there as a small group of friends with our children. It was a great base for our weekend as we climbed Ben Lomond on the Saturday. One of the main reasons we chose this site is because the kids like to sit around the campfire and they allow fire pits. The location is really good. And the beach area is great for the kids to have a swim/paddle. Wardens were really helpful. Toilets were fine. But takes a bit of getting used to having a cool breeze under your bum. Its a no frills site but does everything we needed it to do.

Stayed here one night in the rain during the West Highland Way. Very basic if that's what your looking for, compost toilets and 2 sinks which were clean. There was one bench that was taken with shelter. Only down side really if it's raining your either in your tent or standing in the rain! Which makes a long night. If the weathers on your side its got nice pitches right next to the loch.

Cody ( my dog) and I had an excellent experience at your camp site. Next time we come we'll definitely book a Loch side pitch. Hired a fire pit, put it on the beach and sat till after midnight while Cody explored his new surroundings. Definitely coming back. Staff very helpful and thanks to all.

We done an overnight for my sons 1st camping experience. We loved it perfect spot we pathed in the central pitches would have loved to have had a beach one but non left at time of booking. Great service from park ranger to collect a fire pit. Only thing we were little confused at was when to pitch our tent reading the guidance email we were to pitch up for 2pm but arrived at 12! We did pitch up early knowing we might need to move but no worries. Would defiantly return and stay longer. Thanks

Amazing place... cant be better than this. A must visit place. it can get noisy as people don't seem to get quiet at 11 so sleep was a little disturbed as people kept talking till 1.30am. Would recommend allocating marked camping pitch in central area; people seem to occupy more space sometimes.
