Quay House is a beautiful house, full of character and art. The perfect choice when staying in Woodbridge. Overlooking the river, and 2 minute walk into centre of town. The Riverside Room, was more like a suite than a room. Tastefully decorated with wonderful bed and luxurious bedding. Best sleep ever- slept the sleep of the dead. Linda & Howard very welcoming. Everything was very easy and calm. Exactly what I was wishing for. Hope to return soon.

We had a fantastic 3 nights at the Quay House. We were made welcome from the start and nothing was too much trouble. We had the 'Woodbridge' room located in the roofspace, full of charm and character. The room is very spacious for 2 people but was also more than adequate for our group of 3. Fantastic location, right in the heart of town, near all amenities and local attractions. Breakfast was hearty and very tasty.

We came to stay at the Quay House for the weekend for a wedding. Howard and Linda were really welcoming from the beginning - accommodating our late arrival from London, offering to book taxi's to and from our wedding venue and the options for breakfast both mornings. We stayed in the Riverside room which was bright an airy and well equipped with some nice home touches. The Quay House is well located within Woodbridge, very close to parking, the rail station, the river and the centre of town.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was characterful and welcoming. The location is ideal for popping in to the village for some food or heading further afield for a stroll by the river. Malcolm and Linda were very welcoming, the breakfast was delicious each morning and Malcolm was flexible in regards to time and food orders! Not to mention being full of helpful tips and advice in regards to local amenities, would definitely recommend staying!

We booked the attic conversion - it is stunning and so comfortable. My daughter loved the claw-footed bath and Henry the dog! Howard was so accommodating and made our stay very enjoyable. Appreciated information about where to visit - and good advice on where to eat and to book up tables. We drove, car park opposite by the train station - no noise from the trains and a good alternative for getting there. A great location and beautiful interesting house. Have recommended to lots of friends! Thank you to Howard from Claire, David and Hannah.

Wonderful experience and very attentive hosts. It was a really hot weekend and my only criticism was that the room was very warm so we had to leave the door open to get some air circulating. Quay House is a little oasis of calm right in the centre of Woodbridge. Lovely and we have recommended it to friends and family for a family wedding next year. My husband asked for semi skimmed milk and our wonderful host ran to the local shop to oblige before breakfast!

We stayed here as we were attending a family gathering for a relative who lives in Woodbridge. We found it on the internet and were impressed by the website and were not disappointed. The whole place has a very friendly homely feeling. Our room was the Riverside room - very well appointed ,extremely comfortable and even fresh milk (hooray !) to accompany the tea facilities. Superb breakfasts on both mornings and nothing seemed too much trouble. Most impressed that when Howard ( the owner) was checking before hand if we required him to book any meals in local restaurants and we told him we were having a big family lunch locally he most kindly delivered the room key to the restaurant so we could check in at our convenience. Rolls Royce service ! Excellent value for money. We would not hesitate to recommend the Quay House to anyone and will certainly be going back.

This was our 10th wedding anniversary and we only wanted somewhere a couple of hours drive away from home, so chose Woodbridge in Suffolk. Very straight forward to book on-line and our hosts were very welcoming when we arrived. We had a couple of relaxing days in and around Woodbridge, helped by some very welcome warm sunshine and plenty of good food and retail therapy! The Quay House was extremely interesting from its' history and our hosts' eclectic collection of art. Breakfast was fantastic, with some delicious home-made yoghurt with granola topping. Would definitely recommend Quay House and Woodbridge to family and friends.
