1. The Complex of the Cathedral of St. Elisabeth


The Complex of the Cathedral of St. Elisabeth
comprises of the St. Urbain Tower,
the Chapel of St. Michael and the Catherdral.

2. The State Theatre


The State Theatre is situated in the centre
of Kosice.
The building was built in a Neo-Baroque
style and the ceiling is decorated with scenes from
Shakespeare's tragedies.

3. The Immaculata


The Immaculata is a 14 metre high Baroque plague
column with a sculpture of Virgin Mary on the top.

4. Forgach Palace


The Forgach Palace was built in the early 19th
Century and is now home to the State Science Library.

5. Levoca House


Levoca House is the oldest known inn in Kosice.
It has been the property of the archbishop of
Ostrihom and palatine Alexander Thurzo.


6. Jakab Palace


Jakab Palace was built at the end of the 19th Century using rejected stone from the renovation of the Cathedral of St. Elisabeth.

7. The Holy Trinity Column

The Holy Trinity Column was built to celebrate the church and faith.


8. The Dominican Church


The Dominican Church is the oldest standing
building in Kosice, dating from around 1290.

9. Andrassy Palace


Andrassy Palace was developed by Vojtech Czigler,
a professor at the University of Budapest.
It is a richly decorated three-story building
built in 1899 in Neo-Baroque style.

10. The Bishop's Residence


In 1804 Kosice became the residence of the Bishop.
