I felt very welcome and found the room to be comfortable and the food good. I and my staff use many hotels around the country each year and until now have had great difficulty in finding a decent hotel in this area. We have now found it.

Booked rather late on the same day as stopping, room was good, bed comfortable, shower was great, food was fantastic and the owner very welcoming. A little road noise was present but that I guess is to be expected and is the price you pay for being very near the main road which gives you easy access to and from the pub

I stayed at the Oliver Twist for 3 nights in January 2012 and I was made to feel most welcome from the beginning. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. The majority of their food is sourced locally, from free range eggs and locally farmed meats, all were delicious, especially the breakfasts which are any size you please as part of the B&B price.

The room was nothing to shout about but the shower was nice and powerful and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Noise from boiler / pumps and traffic in rooms above the bar. There are some detached rooms which i'd have preferred to have stayed in (I would have rated the place a definite 4 or 5 stars I expect). The main plus point of the Oliver Twist has got to be the food. I don't think i've had a nicer steak pie! A couple of real ales on the bar too which is always nice to see. Very friendly hosts too. Would be happy to stay here again if i'm in the area.

My stay at the Inn was very pleasant - room was clean and comfortable - my welcome was good and friendly - just what I needed after a long journey - did not stay for supper but menu looked great and as I was leaving at 0600 the next day I missed breakfast but a packup breakfast was made and left in my room that evening ( a very nice and unexpected surpise) - highly recomend

This was my first visit to the Oliver Twist and I was very impressed. I received a warm welcome. The room's decor was a little tired but the large size of the room and the fabulous bathroom more than made up for that. The restaurant sources local ingredients; the steak and ale pie was the best I have ever had. I have tried other hotel accommodation in the area and this is by far the best. I will definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff. Food was fresh, well cooked and plentiful. Room was basic (tv, trouser press, kettle, hair dyer) and clean. Liked the tiling in the bathroom. Decent sized car park and well sign posted. Didn't see any other guests but imagine the atmosphere would be good when full. We only stayed one night to break up a long journey, but it would be equally suitable as a base for holidaying in the fens and surrounding area.

Had one night accommodation at the oliver twist bed and breakfast, what can i say well it's a place that needs to be up dated as the bedroom that we had was in desperate need of refurbishment, but the room was clean.
The breakfast was very good indeed.
As for price for the room we thought that it was a bit on the high side.

Just to say we had the most fantastic stay with you. Our room was clean and spacious, you and your staff were helpful and courteous, our bed linen was changed regularly and the room always fresh. Your food was amazing and the only complaint my husband made was ‘It was that good, you have to eat it all’. So just to add agin our stay with you was fantastic and I would recommend ‘The Oliver Twist’ to anyone.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at your wonderful Inn...
Rene is a lady with a disability and we found your disabled rooms to be top class, every need was catered for and and all areas easily accessible.........The room was clean (i checked) and the beds comfortable...The furniture was not i'm happy to say flat packed which made a really nice change from some places we have stayed.......Breakfast was plentiful and Delicious and all needs catered for........You were friendly and have a really good idea of what DISABLED accomodation should be, You listen when suggestions are made and are not offended by them..........We will definatley be returning to your Inn and hope this will be the first of many trips taken to Wisbech...........Thank you.
