  We only stayed for one night & the price was heavily discounted, which, given the limited choice in Sevenoaks, made the decision to book easy. The welcome was friendly and we were given the choice of 2 different rooms, which was nice. The hotel was fairly basic and in need of a freshen up (new carpets & a coat of paint would make the world of difference). However, there was plenty of space in the car park and the location was ideal!

  We booked a room for four, two adults, two children. The room was amply sized and with all the amenities necessary. It was in the middle of winter and the heating was working fine. No damp. Shower worked fine. We didn't try the breakfast. Reasonably priced for what you get and especially for the area. I was helped with my luggage to the room, without asking and the parking was fine.

  Myself a friend and my Granddaughter stayed at the moorings hotel for one night. We were made very welcome on our arrival. Our room, bedding and towels were clean, plenty of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and bicuits available, shampoo and body wash for everyone in the bathroom. We have no complaints. The last time we stayed we included breakfast, which was delicious but also huge and as we go out for lunch decided to give it a miss this time. But If you wish to be set up for the day do include breakfast.I will stay again. Not 5* luxury but very adequate for our needs, Also it is difficult to find hotels who will take bookings for 3 adults in one room. Absoloutly no problem here. On this note alone I highly recommend.

  I found the hotel on the Web, and was pleased to find somewhere so convenient to my work in Sevenoaks and by comparison with other establishments there this was well within my budget. Whilst the room was not in fully good decorative order it was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Having to pay extra for the parking and the breakfast was a bit of a surprise but even so the total came out as very reasonable. Breakfast was good and quickly delivered. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

  We found the staff at The Moorings to be very pleasant and helpful - the room was clean and comfortable - ideal for our two night stay to visit friends in Riverhead - the location is excellent and the breakfast is wonderful.

  I was greeted by by two very pleasant, polite, helpful and understanding young people one of whom showed me to my room. The room itself was clean, spacious and well appointed. English breakfast was great. Cereal and friut juice available as well. Set me off perfectly for the day. Everyone at the hotel was polite and attentive, great value for money.
