Stayed at the Hanmer Arms on the 19th and 20th of April 2012. Everyone there is extremely personable and helpful always making you feel welcome. The room was very cute and very clean - would recommend the loft suite to anyone. The location is just beautiful and the Inn is in great shape with lot's of personality and character. The food in the dining room was a welcome surprise as it was so much better than expected. I am craving those garlicky mushrooms! We were in the UK for 15 days and the Hanmer Arms was one of our most favorite stops.......we will definitely be going back.

Our stay at the Hamner arms was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and accommodated any special requests, which I appreciated a great deal. The food was also wonderful, we enjoyed every meal there very much. The town of Hamner is just a short walk down the hill and is a lovely setting for a weekend away. Would highly recommend overall.

“Whilst in the area doing family history research (we live...”
    By N/a
Whilst in the area doing family history research (we live in Norfolk) we had lunch here twice - first class food - good value - friendly helpful staff - would like this as our 'local' but 270 miles is a bit of a long way to pop in for a quick pint. Staff happy to give us directions and help in our research.
