Location. The Thames Hotel is located in Maidenhead, England, three miles from Cliveden, and 20 miles from the centre of London. This boutique hotel is located on the banks of the River Thames. Hotel Features. The steep peaked roof and gabled windows of the three storey brick and plaster hotel reflect its historic beginnings; the hotel first opened in 1880. Wireless Internet is accessible throughout the public areas, and housekeeping can provide 24 hour laundry service. A complimentary breakfast buffet is served each morning at Thames Hotel. During the warmer months, the River Bar opens seating on the riverside terrace and serves Italian and British sandwiches and snacks. The Moorings Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and offers a fusion of traditional and modern national dishes. For conference or special events, the Bridges Suite has its own bar and can host 50 people for a seated banquet and 80 for a standing reception.
