Stonehouse Court is overlooking the Stroud Water Canal and the beautiful hills of Stroud Valley. The lovely gardens and lawns invite you to take a walk, have a drink or play a game of Croquet. It is ideal for quiet picnics or hiking tours across the countryside, for example visit the Tidal Monument, Wotton under Edge, the Stroudwater Canal or the Cotswold Way. Or you could take a boat trip on the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal. There are established cycling paths into the hills and you can order a packed lunch in the hotel's restaurant to be perfectly equipped for a long day out.
