Spread Eagle Hotel & Spa

Originally a coaching inn, this famous hotel - one of England's oldest - has been welcoming guests since 1430. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere has ensured the return of many guests again and again and will continue to do so for centuries to come.

The luxury Spread Eagle Hotel is set in Sussex, in the historic market town of Midhurst. It combines modern features with classic attributes like heavy leather chairs, 15th-century oak beams and ancient stained glass windows.

The romantic setting is the ideal wedding venue. There are rooms for events of all sizes, from a private ceremony with 30 guests to wedding dinner with 120.

Spa

The Aquila Health Spa at the Spread Eagle Hotel includes many modern facilities, such as Scandinavian sauna, indoor heated pool, steam room and Jacuzzi spa pool. The air-conditioned fitness suite is well-equipped and the treatment rooms invite you to enjoy a beauty treatment for full relaxation. There are special overnight spa packages available.

Restaurant

The restaurant at the Spread Eagle is managed by Head Chef Nathan Marshal who creates excellent modern classic British dishes to be served in the historic restaurant, which was awarded 2 AA Rosettes. The inglenook fireplace creates a wonderful atmosphere for a dinner for two or a family lunch. During the summer months, you can enjoy your meals also in the Conservatory or on the Terrace.
