Health conscious guests can start the day with a dip in the indoor pool or a workout on cardio vascular and resistance machines in the gym. The coffee shop offers cappuccinos, morning papers and afternoon tea, while the hotel's four bars serve aperitifs and nightcaps in the evening, alongside light meals. The Knightsbridge restaurant offers a choice of table d'hote menus, complemented by fine wines, served in traditional surroundings. Guests can also enjoy 'dine and dance' evenings every Saturday. Alternatively, the Cloisters restaurant, housed in what used to be the Hotel's stables and incorporating carefully retrieved and restored stained glass and period artefacts, offers traditional English fare, prepared using local products and focusing on char grilled food. The hotel's two conference suites are able to accommodate meetings of up to 180 people. Practical amenities include room service, express check in/out and complimentary parking facilities. One mile from the hotel, guests can take a trip to the Martin Mere wildlife sanctuary, or visit Floral Hall and the Arts Centre.
