Samare's Coast Hotel and self-catering apartments are located on the south coast of Jersey in a prime sea front location with superb views over St. Clement's Bay. A lovely clean, sandy and rocky beach is opposite (the Greve d'Azette RAMSAR site) and it is a coastal wetland area of international importance with plenty of birds and other wildlife to watch.
The hotel has an indoor leisure complex with indoor swimming pool, spa bath, steam room and a modern mini gym (containing rowing/ step machines, exercise bikes and weights) that overlooks the outdoor swimming pool area and beautiful award winning gardens.
There is a large carpark with parking for up to 35 cars. However a car is not essential as there is a bus stop just outside with frequent buses to St Helier (15 minutes) and Gorey Harbour (25 minutes). It only takes about 30 minutes to walk into St Helier town centre (1.5 miles). The hotel also has bike racks.
There are 50 en-suite bedrooms and most are accessible via a lift. Bedrooms are comfortable and have satellite TV, radio, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi in Reception, lounge and bar areas.
The restaurant serves a full English buffet breakfast and a freshly prepared menu each evening. The restaurant has fantastic marine views over St Clement's Bay.
The main hotel bar serves a bar menu each lunchtime. The outdoor swimming pool bar is opened on fine Summer days and our guests can eat informal lunches in our gardens.
Guests can use our coin operated laundry.
Self-Catering Apartments
There are 12 popular serviced apartments set above the award winning gardens and outdoor swimming pool area.
Guests who are renting self-catering apartments in our grounds are welcome to use all of the hotel's facilities.
All units are one bedroom with a separate lounge, kitchen area and bathroom and its own patio or balcony. Apartments accommodate two adults and can accommodate one extra bed within the bedroom for child use.
All apartments are serviced daily and a coin operated laundry is at your disposal. Facilities include satellite TV and telephone. Each apartment offers separate access allowing you freedom to come and go as you please.
A very useful small outlet of Marks and Spencer (food only) is just a 5 minute walk away and it has a cash machine and Post Office.
