We felt very at home and found what we had expected: quietness and simplicity. The personel and the guests were during these 2 weeks absolutely helpful and courteous. We also enjoyed the ample dinner. Actually, we are sorry not to have spent more time in the gardens during the day and enjoyed the spirit of real relaxation.

This was our second visit to Millbrook House, the previous one was in 2008. The service was again excellent, the staff friendly and polite, the room comfortable and the food very good value (six course dinner plus coffee). Very relaxing. We definitely would wish to stay there again.

Not having been to Jersey for six years, there was still no question about where to stay. We've stayed at Millbrook House several times previously and were delighted to see the courteous high standards still remain. You are welcomed personally by the owner, Mr Pirouet and still remembered, despite the gap. The tranquil and beautiful surroundings, which the brochure and website make a feature of, have changed little either and are something expensive modern stereotyped hotels can never match. Breakfast and Dinner are not, pointlessly, elaborate but are plentiful and of high quality, served by friendly staff. To us Millbrook House represents the best value on the island and will remain our hotel of choice whenever we visit Jersey.
