Maranton House is a small, family run Georgian hotel located on a leafy side street off Earl's Court Road in Kensington, West London. The 15 guestrooms vary in size, shape and décor but all have high ceilings, windows that open, coffee/tea makers, televisions, and tiled bathrooms with showers and bidets. Dial up Internet is also available for those with laptops. The renovated Georgian building has a sunny breakfast room that serves cooked and continental breakfasts, and which converts to a bar in the evening, with French doors leading to a patio. Earls Court Exhibition Centre is across the road from the hotel and 'Museum Row' comprising of the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and V&A Museum is one mile away. Heathrow airport is located 14 miles (22 kilometres) from the hotel, a drive of approximately 30 minutes. The Heathrow Express train service to London Paddington Station leaves every 15 minutes. The airport is also on the Underground's Piccadilly Line, which takes passengers directly to Earls Court tube station, 150 meters from the hotel. London's black taxi cabs also service Heathrow Airport. Bus services include the Airbus Heathrow shuttle to London Victoria or King's Cross railway stations.
