La Rocaille is a small (22 bedrooms) family run, traditional style chalet hotel located in a picturesque setting in the prestigious Abondance valley of Haute Savoie, an area of outstanding natural beauty and character. Abondance is a traditional Savoyard village in the Portes Du Soleil region of the French Alps, providing a tranquil setting for your holiday, whether you are skiing, snowboarding, walking, mountain biking; or whatever your chosen activity. Guests can enjoy truly stunning, uninterrupted panoramic views from the lounge terrace. You will marvel at the summit of the Mont de Grange stretching to nearly 2500m, dominating the Vallee d'Abondance. Our hotel staff, headed by Alain and Susie, are friendly and attentive and they will make every effort to ensure your stay at La Rocaille is a memorable one.

In the restaurant both local specialties and traditional cuisine are enjoyed and there is a warm and inviting atmosphere in which to relax after a busy day's activities.

La Rocaille is best suited to a fly/drive or drive holiday. We can arrange airport transfers and there is a ski bus on the main road (a few minutes walk) serving La Chapelle, Chatel and Pre le Joux, but it is recommended that you have your own transport to make the most of the area.
