  Hotel very nice lovely location however could hear loud music till very late which did affect sleep which was disapointing

  Room was clean and tiny, quiet and comfortable. Waiter (young man) in bar was asked for a glass of Sauvugnon blanc. He did not know what this wine was and produced a white wine which he said was the house wine. When asked to identify it he stated it was Italian !!! Needs more training I would suggest. I was with a private party and requested a salad with my fillet steak instead of vegetables. In the confused meal we had served over about 3 hours I never did get my salad and just gave up as did most of our party. The staff were very pleasant but they were understaffed and we were not very well attended to. By that I mean we had to wait a long time to have our plates cleared and have the next course served.

  We stayed 2 nights recently for a friends wedding. The hotel is in a lovely setting overlooking the golf course and countryside. The staff that served us were vey helpful, the breakfast was hot and plentiful, (suggest you try the breakfast omlettes). The wedding venue was ideal, and the food served was delicious. The public areas of the hotel are clean, tidy and decorated to the style of the property. The rooms felt a little dated and the bathrooms could do with a bit of modernisation. But the rooms and showers were clean and tidy. The rooms can get a little warm at times, be prepared for that. Being classed as a 3 star property, we felt that the public areas were worthy of 4 stars, but the rooms were only 3 stars. We felt that this property, for the date we booked for was a little over priced at £120 per night, we have stayed in some 4 star hotels for less.

  We stayed at the hotel for a friends wedding, the venue is nice, the grounds are lovely and the bar is open all night. I used the pool area every day, which was also lovely, just wasnt expecting so many kids. Most of the staff we extremely helpful. The only frustrating part is KEY CARDS! Due to the fact they stop working if they are near your mobile phone was annoying! I had to change my card 3 times.
