The Canon Court Apartments in Edinburgh are set in the Georgian New Town area of the city, one mile from buzzing Princes Street, the city's main shopping thoroughfare. The 42 apartments are decorated in pastel shades, with cheerful patterned fabrics and simple wood furniture. All have fully fitted kitchens with cookers, washing machines and microwaves. Complimentary toiletries and CD players are also supplied; Video or DVD Players are available upon request with a surcharge. There are one bedroom apartments with either a double bed or two single beds or a two bedroom apartment with one double bed and twin single beds or four single beds. Apartments types are subject to availability. Guests of the Canon Court can borrow baby equipment, including toys, high chairs and infant beds, from reception. A local fitness center is open to residents of the apartments, where the swimming pool and gym can be used for a small fee. Edinburgh Airport is a 25 minute drive and nine miles from the apartments. Taxis are available from a rank next to the terminal and frequent bus services run to the central Edinburgh bus terminus at Waverley Bridge. Also available is complimentary WiFi. Please note: Reception at the Canon Court Apartments, Edinburgh, is open between 8 AM and 8 PM Monday Friday and between 8.30 AM and 2.30 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Guests must specify estimated time of arrival in the Guests expecting to arrive outside the reception hours must notify the hotel in advance to receive check in instructions. Please note: The hotel's reception is open on weekdays, 8 AM to 8 PM, and at weekends, 8.30 AM to 2.30 PM.
