Situated in the very centre of the historic town of Windsor, The Harte & Garter Hotel is currently undergoing a £6 million refurbishment. Public areas, all 79 bedrooms including bathrooms, the restaurant, meetings and events facilities will be refurbished and a brand new spa is being built, so the hotel will offer an impressive location for business or a relaxed venue for leisure.Dating back to the mid 19th Century, the hotel's refurbishment will sympathetically bring it into the 21st Century thanks to its many contemporary additions - not to mention conference facilities for up to 200 delegates.Where possible, the hotel's original features will be retained and enhanced, while a luxury, stylish and contemporary finish will be introduced throughout the hotel. All bedrooms, some of which feature four poster beds, are being added to offer even greater choice. Better still, in addition to the new bedrooms being built, each will includ high-speed internet and a flat screen TV as standard.
