Eco Friendly Hotel
In this era, caring about our environment is a tremendously important part of life. With that in mind, Great Hallingbury Manor is proud to play its eco-friendly part in every current aspect and future development on the property.
The Manor will be installing air-source heating technology, which harnesses the surrounding air and, using a split system heat pump, converts it to heat. At optimum levels, air-source heating can deliver up to three times more energy than it consumes. Water usage will also be reduced through aqua-recycling. And, of course, environmentally friendly products will be used in rooms, restaurants and kitchens throughout the hotel.

Located just moments away from the M11, A10 and Stansted Airport, Great Hallingbury Manor is a prime location for business travellers and conference meetings. Our Oak Room can hold 40 people (theatre-style) or 25 (board-room style). Very large conference facilities can be arranged, with private transfer if required, just down the road at a special conference center. We will also offer two private rooms for smaller meetings.
Despite the prime location, Great Hallingbury Manor manages to avoid the sterility of most airport hotels, surrounding guests with lush green countryside, charm and character.

The idyllic setting for your wedding day, the newly renovated Great Hallingbury Manor will be licensed for civil ceremonies by September. Imagine enjoying your rehearsal dinner or wedding breakfast in our fine dining restaurant overlooking the lake and swan sanctuary. We will be offering the services of expert wedding coordinators, who can arrange everything from transport to music, from flowers to cake. Picture that perfect day, complete with the wedding reception of your dreams inside our magnificent garden marquee, which holds up to 200 guests.
We still have Winter dates available at a reduced rate and, as we are newly opening, we are one of the very few venues that still offer the most desired weekend dates in the summer of 2008. We can also offer discounted weekday weddings.
