Westhill Country Hotel take pride in providing enjoyment; relaxation and value have been our standards since the hotel began. Westhill Country Hotel is situated in an elevated position, inland on the rural outskirts of Jersey’s capital St Helier, surrounded on three sides by agricultural land and sited in its own south facing five acres of award winning gardens. The relaxed informality has been a popular choice for generations of visitors, many of whom return year after year.For the convenience of our guests, the hotel operates a courtesy coach service to central St Helier five times daily. Alternatively, there is a public bus stop near the hotel for the mile and a half journey.The St Helier waterfront and beautiful St Aubins Bay are only a five minute drive downhill from the hotel.FacilitiesAll public areas of the hotel are bright and spacious and include an attractive cocktail bar which leads onto the garden room. Adjacent to the garden room is the dining room, both of which look over the gardens and swimming pool.On the same level is a comfortable ballroom bar and lounge, and above, a childrens' games area with pool table. Entertainment takes place in the ballroom or garden room four or five evenings a week during season.Within the hotels ten acres of grounds their are two swimming pools, (one for children), surounding sun terraces with garden roomrs and a poolside bar serving drinks and light snacks. The beautifully tended gardens feature spacious areas in which you can relax, a nature trail to explore and various outdoor activities for young and old alike.Complementary WI-FI thoughout the public areas.BedroomsWe accommodate up to 180 guests in our comfortable pleasantly furnished bedrooms all with private facilities (bath or shower), colour television, radio, hairdryer, telephone with baby listening facility, tea & coffee making facilities.Majority of rooms are front facing those at the back of the hotel overlook our award-winning gardens this is reflected in the rates. Family Suites represent all aspects of position and are ideal for families. These rooms share a bathroom. We have a limited amount of family suites, due to popular demand these rooms need to be booked well in advance.Superior single is a delightful large room with double bed & private facilities. A limited number of bedrooms are situated on the public area level, although it should be noted that all ground floor rooms may necessitate a few steps. All other bedrooms are situated on the first, second & third floors. The hotel DOES NOT have a lift and therefore may not be suited for guests with severe walking difficulties. ArrivalsCheck in time is from noon onwards. However, should your room be ready at the time of arrival you will be able to check in directly.DeparturesCheck-out time is 10am. Naturally you are welcome to use the hotel facilities until you departure. Should you require keeping the room longer and subject to availability, there will be a surcharge. GOLFMatthew & Jonathan (the hotel owners) are keen golfers and organise a fun weekly golf day at one of Jersey’s premier golf courses Les Mielles Golf & Country Club.Golfers can take there pick from a large selection of golf courses across the island many with stunning views.
