Etrop Grange is a gracious Grade II listed Georgian Mansion, originally built in 1780, and although just a short distance from Manchester Airport, is anything but an 'airport hotel'.

With the finishing touches being made to the hotels complete refurbishment, this individual and traditionally run property is developing in 2007 to combine the luxurious, boutique elements of a country house hotel with city chic interiors. The £1.8 million investment includes a complete refurbishment of the hotel's lobby area, its Coach House and all of the 64 air conditioned bedrooms.

The hotel is just 2 minutes from Manchester Airport and the M56, making it an ideal stopover before you next business trip, holiday or whilst you over visiting Manchester United. The 64 individually furnished en suite bedrooms each reflect the Georgian charm of this country house hotel and are named after Cheshire villages. The majority have brass or four-poster beds and a selection have a Jacuzzi bath. All have satellite television, direct dial telephone with modem point, trouser press and hairdryer.

There are singles, twins and doubles, as well as 7 four-poster rooms and 2 suites. All offer a comfortable, welcoming and well-equipped retreat at the end of the day. Each have hospitality trays and further refreshments are available throughout the day and night from Room Service.

Etrop Grange Hotel has an excellent reputation for fine dining and a high level of service. As part of the refurbishment, The Coach House Restaurant has been remodelled and re-launched, following the appointment of head chef Marc Mattocks.

This AA rosette recognised restaurant is light and airy and newly decorated in a contemporary, yet classical style, suitable for business lunches and celebrations alike. With a new improved á la carte menu, you can be tempted by modern and international delicacies such as roast loin of venison with red cabbage, fondant potato and bitter chocolate sauce or local braised lamb, with potato galette and confit duck faggot.

The lounge bar offers a calm place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink or an after dinner nightcap.

Private dining facilities are also a speciality of Etrop Grange. Catering from 2 to 85 guests in a variety of rooms with character including the panelled Library and bright Conservatory, our staff will work with you to develop menus to suit the occasion and ensure the celebration is one to remember.
