Location. Cliffeside Hotel is set on Bournemouth's prestigious East Cliff, above miles of golden beaches with superb views over the Channel. Brownsea Island, seven miles from the hotel, boasts splendid beaches on its south shore, as well as two nature reserves inland. The north of the island is a sanctuary for waterfowl, while the south reserve plays host to magnificent peacocks.
