Chalet des Alpes, Valais
The luxury Chalet des Alpes, is set high above the Rhône Valley in the village of Lens, just 10 minutes from the famous 4 season resort of Crans Montana. This privately-run catered chalet offers excellent levels of service and comfort. We aim to go that little bit further and we try to be different without taking away comfort and service. This brand new chalet, built in traditional Valaisian style with all the modern facilities that today's discerning traveller requires, is only 2 hours (170km) from Geneva, most of which is easy motorway driving. All rooms are en-suite with amazing views along the Rhône Valley and across to Anzère.
In Winter we run a catered ski chalet (which is also suitable for non-skiers), with open fire, afternoon tea, 3 course meals with a choice of menu (vegetarian option & special diets catered for) and private transfers to & from the ski lifts. Depending on availability, we may be able to offer short breaks and long weekends.
During the Spring, Summer & Autumn we offer Bed & Breakfast on a nightly basis and also walking packages with maps, suggested walks, packed lunches and lift tickets. Crans Montana is excellent for Mountain Biking, Alpine Adventures, Golf, Spa, Swimming, Shopping and just Relaxing
You are able to book the whole chalet for exclusive use. All our bedrooms are designed for 2 beds. We do not have any family rooms or offer child discounts but sole use means you have 5 rooms / 10 beds to use. There is 1 free place when all 10 beds are booked. Some of the benefits for booking the whole chalet, at anytime of the year, is complimentary transfers from Sion Airport or Railway station, flexible ski transfers (in the winter), flexible dining. Excursions to Zermatt, Leukerbad (Thermal Spa), Mont Blanc and other local attractions can be arranged for a small supplement. Book early to avoid disappointment. We recommend booking 12 months in advance for exclusive use.
Group Organisers. If you organise a group of adult skiers, walkers, a painting class, mountain bikers, golfers, family holidays, or in fact any group, please see above for exclusive use. We have some amazing deals in the low season.
