  I booked here for the gadget show and found it very easy to find, the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will come back next year for sure.

  Staff very helpful and cheerful on arrival, although the remote for the TV was missing, they soon found one and brought it up to the room and were very apologetic about the fact that the phone was not working and offered to change rooms if we wanted. Buffet breakfast available from 7am on Sunday - ideal for early work commitments.

  Regular visitor on business trips. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and commodiuos. Breakfast very basic therefore downgrade at the service rating. Overal decision: good value for money.

  A lovey hotel with friendly helpful staff. The only downside was the room was chilly when we arrived and took a couple of hours to warm through, The breakfast was fine. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

  Have stayed here many times over the years when it was Holiday inn Express , now re-branded Castle Bromwich Hotel ,if anything I would say the Hotel has improved and is cheaper and staff very helpfull. I needed to charge my i-phone and the freindly receptionist organised this for me . Not a place to spend a holiday due to its location but ideal for an overnight or business trip. Clean and reasonably modern.

  The hotel was really clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly the only problem we had was the heater in our room was not working but when we told reception they sorted a portable heater wich was very good overall very pleasant stay and would recommend to anyone.

  Staff very polite and friendly-nothing too much trouble, ample parking and bar. On a flight path for planes. The local trains also pass-by the hotel but, don't hear either of them as the windows are well insulated. No restaurant/eating facility in the hotel but faciity available a stones throw away to the hotel. Near to the NEC and shops and other eating facilities. Rooms have tea/coffee facilities provided along with fresh bed linen and towels daily. Hotel sign is easy to miss in one direction though due to the hedges being overgrown and covering the bottom part of the sign. A nice stay and would stay again for a weekend.

  The room was very clean and had a good shower in a fair sized bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was surprised that the Hotel did not have a Restaurant. You had to go just outside to one. However this was very good with a good choice and reasonable priced. You had a Buffet Breakfast in the Hotel which started at 6.30 on weekdays. The Hotel had a free car park and was reasonable priced.

  Visited the NEC Birmingham 15th Oct 2011 and didin't want travel all the way back to Co.Durham. Found the hotel on the NEC site. We were a bit dubious about the hotel due to the low price of the room + breakfast. We needn't have worried. The hotel reception staff were very helpful & friendly, the room was clean & tidy with television and tea making facilities. We travelled with friends who also stayed at this hotel. The ice making machine in the reception area was an added bonus plus the staff supplying us with drinking glasses made our stay. After an exhausting day traipsing round the NEC it was nice just to relax in our room with a few drinks etc. The hotel was easy to find and the breakfast was sufficent for us and sustained us for our long journey back north. We are thinking of visiting the NEC again in February 2012. and if so will certainly use this hotel again. Many thnaks to all for a pleasurable stay

  On arrival I was promptly checked in and handed my room key cards. I went straight to the room to find it was a double, not the twin room that I had booked,but when I went back down to recption they were very helpful and swapped my room straight away with no fuss. The rooms were perfectly functional, clean and quite well equipt. Self service buffet breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate and well stocked.
