      At first I was a little put out as there were no lights on and it was dusk, but I needn't have worried. The staff were very friendly. The room cosy and plenty of hot water. Breakfast fine....

    For value for money on my short stay it was fine. Near to bus route which is beneficial due to the long walk up hill from town. Satisfactory cooked breakfast with good choice.

    This hotel accepted single night bookings, nice welcome, plain, clean and tidy room, helpful people. Close enough to walk to town centre and harbours, castle etc. No frills and good value for money.
